CZECH OPEN 2008 7th International Go Tournament part of the19th International Chess and Games Festival tournament rated into the Pandanet European Cup and Grand Prix of the Czech Republic 11.-13.7. 2008 Pardubice, Czech Republic

Organizer: AVE-KONTAKT s.r.o. in cooperation with PromoGo o.s. and Czech Go Association Festival director: Jana Hricova Tournament system: McMahon system, equal games, 6 rounds, 60 min. basic time and byoyomi 15 moves/5 min. Participation without age and performance limitations is possible. Unclassified players will obtain the rate 20 kyu.

Criteria used for ranking: MM – coefficient, SOS Financial prizes: 10 000, 8 000, 6 000, 4 000, 2 500 and 1 500 CZK Prizes for 6 points achieved (except for the first 5 players in the total standing) - 500 CZK

Material prizes in overall value of 2 000 CZK for players with 5 points, best woman, best player up to 18, 15, 12 and 10 years of age.

Starting fee and accommodation payments will be collected during the registration in cash in EUR (at the amount given in these regulations), CZK (in the rate 24:1 compared to prices given in these regulations) or USD or by debit and credit cards: Eurocard/Master Card, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, JCB or Diners Club.
